Episode 107: True Q
True Q is an episode we haven't revisited in a long time. Off mic we have been talking about doing a Q episode and while David was in transit back home from my trip down south this episode sprung into his mind. Part of the trip randomly are talked about during this episode as we do a bit of rabbit holeing! This is an interesting episode, as all of Q episodes are usually some of the better Star Trek episodes. We see how the intern Amanda Rodgers is actually an new Q. Amanda says she wants to be human and have a normal life but sometimes love gets in the way of the best of intentions. Episode 106: Star Trek Nightingale
This week on Synthaholics we have a Star Trek listener request to talk about the Voyager episode Nightingale. This is a Harry Kim centric episode with an Icheb centric B plot. Guess which plot David like the best! This is an episode that both Aaron and David had not thought about in a while so it was nice to revisit this episode. We want to visit Voyager a bit more this year then we have in the years past. We hope you are ready for the David rants! We discus the burdens of command and how making this podcast on a weekly basis has changed our Star Trek viewing habits. Episode 105: Star Trek Noobz 2 Space Seed
Trevor White of The Geekiverse joins us for Star Trek Noobz 2: Space Seed! We had a great time with Josiah on Trek Noobz one we just needed to follow that up with another one. Space Speed is a classic episode of the Original Series that introduces Khan since Trevor is familiar with the JJ film reboots we thought this would be a great place to introduce him to the original series. We have a blast revisiting this episode while trying a new drink the James Tea Kirk, it’s green and has lots of different alcohols!
